What is Trap and Skeet Shooting?
Trap
Trap shooting includes shooting at targets rising and going away at different angles and uses a modified to full choke. This type of shooting is supposed to mimic birds like pheasants.
Skeet
Although similar to Trap shooting, Skeet has more angles as well as requiring a more open choke. It’s original intent was to offer practice to hunters going after upland game (dove, quail, etc.). Contact us if you’d like to learn more!
Do I Have to be a Member to Shoot at the Gun Club?
No! Anyone is free to shoot at the Medford Gun Club. Whether you’re looking for competeitive, recreationsal, or practice before hunting season, the Medford Gun Club is the place for you!
